History of The Center

The center started in 1992-93, is the outcome of generous donation from Shri  Ramkrishna Bajaj and the council for Fair Business Practices on the occasion of the Jamnalal Bajaj centenary celebrations.Sinces October 1997,the center is household in separate premises of its own.

Vision

Develop the Centre as a reputed, Trustworthy, consumer welfare organization with a high degree of business ethics and proficiency, leading to total consumer satisfaction.

Mission

Make the centre equipped with sophisticated instruments along with trained staff and accredited to achieve the desired proficiency.

Aims and Objective

The main aim of the center is to create awareness among consumer and provide services to industry for quality testing of consumer product. The center also serves as a resource center for consumers seeking information, guidance/consultation and testing.

The Activities of the center are:

  1. Testing / Analysis of consumer products for quality including raw, processed and ready-to-eat foods and presence of adulterants.
  2. Consultancy/Guidance for consumers, entrepreneurs, industries, organizations etc. for product formulation and development as well as ensuring quality standards of their products.
  3. Dissemination of information and creating awareness among various target groups.
  4. Research and Development in the area of food,pharma and Nutraceuticals.
